Updates

I hope everyone is having a relaxing summer :-)

If you received an "I" on your report card, it is because you did not turn in your text book (SL) or for HLA it is because you did not renew it OR you did not renew your study guide with me. Administration has your grades so as soon as you take care of your textbook obligations, your transcript will be changed.

Also, don't forget that for HL you need to read a non-fiction science book over the summer. You can get the book approved from me if it is not on the list.

Don't forget to sign up for the Summer Trip to Argentina and Brazil. We already have some students signed up! Don't miss this fabulous opportunity. Email me with any questions.

Happy Summer!!! Woooooohoooo

Sky diving was awesome :-)

SL Scientist of the Month

For SL only
Just as a reminder: if you haven't signed up for a scientist, you are not guaranteed approval. At this time, all of the male scientist spots have been taken. If you have not signed up, you need to check with me before you start your project to make sure your scientist is appropriate.

Group 4 Project Symposium

Date: Wednesday, April 29th
Location: RMHS Library
Time: 6:00-7:00pm

Every group needs to have a presentation prepared on TWO medias. You will need a powerpoint presentation as well as a poster. We will present the powerpoints from 6:00-6:30pm and then stand by your posters and answer questions from 6:30-7:00pm. The same information should be presented on both medias.

The presentation will be due IN CLASS on Wednesday, April 22. During lunch, we will do a practice run through. This will be graded. You must turn in your presentation on a flash drive on the 22nd in class so that I can load it onto my computer in preperation for the lunch time run through. Failure to have this ready will result in a severe drop in your grade. NO EXCUSES. Have it ready the day before to avoid penalties. You are welcome to turn it in early.
